Teach in China

The 4 week 'in-country' intensive TEFL course will provide you with all the necessary skills and knowledge to work as a teacher intern.

It's a full-time course (108 hours in total) and includes teaching methodology and teaching practice. You’ll also have a great introduction to Chinese culture and customs through group trips, activities and Mandarin lessons.

Apply your new teaching skills during the five month placement in a Chinese school.

Positions exist in kindergarten, primary and secondary schools throughout China and will be allocated according to your preferences and suitability. At the end of your placement you’ll be awarded with your TEFL certificate and a reference from your school.

As a teacher intern your main role will be to teach conversational English lessons. You will be expected to assist the teacher where needed or take lessons independently. You can also expect to get involved in lesson preparation and participating in after school activities and cultural events.

During the programme you’ll be paid a monthly allowance of 2000 RMB (approximately £175) and a completion bonus of 2500 RMB (approximately £220).
