KAMP USA can provide you with all your kitchen assistants (skilled and unskilled), maintenance staff, drivers, laundry assistants, cleaning personnel (both domestic and ‘dirty’ work), chambermaids, security/nightwatchmen, admin staff and so on.

We provide ancillary staff through our KAMP USA (Kitchen and Maintenance Program) program, under the sponsorship of IENA’s Summer Work/Travel J-1 program. All applicants to KAMP USA must be over 18, full-time students and have completed at least one full year in college.

This is the 32nd year of KAMP USA and we can honestly say that this program changed the face of American camping by being the first to offer quality service personnel for areas which had previously been a problem for directors. Participants for KAMP USA are mainly recruited in Britain, Russia, Macedonia, Holland, Germany and France. As with Summer Camp USA, applicants are individually matched with camps according to their background, skills and experience and in accordance with the needs of the camp. Returners on KAMP

BUNAC welcomes returners and offers a great value package for anyone wishing to return to camp as support staff. They can return through BUNAC regardless of whether or not they originally came with BUNAC, but they must have previously held a J-1 support visa and be currently a full-time student to be eligible.
